Martha Münder

Martha Münder was born in Hamburg, studied music theatre in Bayreuth and has been living in Munich for ten years. She was an assistant director at the Bavarian state opera where she worked with directors like Andreas Dresen, Philipp Stölzl, Andreas Kriegenburg and Hans Neuenfels and was in charge of the revivals of their work. As a director Martha Münder staged the opera “Der Diktator” by Ernst Krenek in the Cuvilliéstheatre and the contemporary opera “Tonguecat” for the summer festival of Bavarian state opera. From 2012 until 2014 Münder was a scholarship holder of Deutsche Bank Stiftung in the program “Akademie Musik Theater heute” in the directing divison.

In 2020 Martha Münder changed careers and was accepted into the program “Drehbuchwerkstatt” where she wrote her first screenplay “ELLA” about the german painter Gabriele Münter. Besides screenplays Martha Münder writes poems, her own songs and is a free speaker for weddings and funerals.

VON 2012 BIS 2014 WAR MÜNDER STIPENDIATIN DER DEUTSCHEN BANK STIFTUNG IM PROGRAMM "AKADEMIE MUSIK THEATER HEUTE" IN DER ABTEILUNG REGIE.

IM JAHR 2020 WECHSELTE MARTHA MÜNDER DEN BERUF UND WURDE IN DAS PROGRAMM "DREHBUCHWERKSTATT" AUFGENOMMEN, WO SIE IHR ERSTES DREHBUCH "ELLA" ÜBER DIE DEUTSCHE MALERIN GABRIELE MÜNTER SCHRIEB. NEBEN DREHBÜCHERN SCHREIBT MARTHA MÜNDER GEDICHTE, EIGENE SONGS UND IST FREIE REDNERIN FÜR HOCHZEITEN UND BEERDIGUNGEN.
