Niv Abootalebi, in Teheran geboren, flüchtete mit seiner Familie im Alter von vier Jahren aus dem Iran nach Deutschland und wuchs in Berlin und München auf. Niv lernte sein Handwerk von der Pike auf und arbeitete als Kameramann, sowie als Steadicam Operator an zahlreichen nationalen und internationalen Film- und Werbefilmproduktionen mit. Ob große nationale und internationale Produktionen oder kleinere Filmsets, dokumentarische Szenarien - ihm gelingt es menschliche wie filmische Nähe zu erzeugen, die den Zuschauer*innen Teilhabe an den Geschichten ermöglicht. Niv Abootalebi ist als Kameramann im fiktionalen (DIE WESPE) genauso wie im dokumentarischen Film (SCHUMANNS BARGESRPÄCHE) und TV tätig. Er lebt mit seiner Familie bei München.

Niv Abootalebi, born in Tehran, fled with his family from Iran to Germany at the age of four and grew up in Berlin and Munich. Niv learned his craft from scratch and worked as a cameraman, as well as a Steadicam operator on a planty of national and international film and commercial productions. Whether large national and international productions or smaller film sets, documentary scenarios - he succeeds in creating human as well as cinematic closeness, which allows the audience to participate in the stories. Niv Abootalebi works as a cameraman in fictional (DIE WESPE) as well as documentary film (SCHUMANNS BARGESRPÄCHE) and TV. He lives with his family near Munich.
