Valesca Peters

Valesca Peters was born in Hannover in 1982.
She first trained as a film and video editor.
In 2008 she began to study montage at the HFF Konrad Wolf / Filmuniversität Babelsberg.
Here she tries out different forms of editing, realizes video installations, feature films and documentaries. She graduated in 2013 with the diploma film "Die Verführungskünstler" by Johanna Bentz, which was awarded best documentary at the Filmschau Baden-Württemberg. Since then she has been working as a freelance editor, editing award-winning feature films and documentaries. Her documentary feature debut "Helmut Berger, meine Mutter und ich", which she wrote and directed, premiered at the 2019 Max Ophüls Prize Film Festival.

Valesca lives and works in Berlin, where she also has her own editing suite, which you can book with her.
